Protective Intelligence & Surveillance Prior to any operation, part of what we go through is a detailed system of checks, we call "advance" work. Logistics: This includes such things as travel arrangements. Intelligence: Background checks and / or criminal histories are obtained on persons related to the mission. Surveillance: Often a surveillance team is deployed to observe what the "bad guy" is up to. What are his or her habits, where do they go. We might follow the person who made the threats to find out if he goes out and buys a gun or meets with other persons of questionable character.
Countermeasures: Additionally, electronic countermeasures can play a role in effective protection. Our operatives will electronically sweep businesses, hotel rooms, etc and debug.
